The Texas Family Support Network will be hosting the two-day nationally adopted Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Virtual Certification Training in February!
Based on the Principles of Family Support Practice and the Strengthening Families Framework and its research-based evidence-informed 5 Protective Factors, the National Family Support Network has created a common language across different kinds of Family Strengthening and Family Support programs such as Family Resource Centers, home visiting programs, and child development programs.
This two-day virtual certification training details how the Standards can enhance work with families. Whether you are setting up a new program or strengthening an existing one, the Standards provide a blueprint for implementing best practice.
Day 1: February 15th 9:00am-5:00pm Day 2: February 16th 9:00am-1:00pm
Participants who complete the full 2 days will receive a certificate from the National Family Support Network that is valid for two years.
Participants will be required to attend both days of training and have a training manual to follow along with in order to receive certification. The manual will be mailed to participants prior to the first day of training. ***Upon registration, please provide the shipping address that you will have no trouble accessing. Last Day for registration will be on February 7th.
