The Texas Family Support Network will be hosting the two-day nationally adopted Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Virtual Certification Training in December!
Based on the Principles of Family Support Practice and the Strengthening Families Framework and its research-based evidence-informed 5 Protective Factors, the National Family Support Network has created a common language across different kinds of Family Strengthening and Family Support programs such as Family Resource Centers, home visiting programs, and child development programs.
This two-day virtual certification training details how the Standards can enhance work with families. Whether you are setting up a new program or strengthening an existing one, the Standards provide a blueprint for implementing best practice.
Day 1: December 11th 9:00am-3:30pm Day 2: December 12th 9:00am-3:30pm
Participants who complete the full 2 days will receive a certificate from the National Family Support Network that is valid for two years.
Participants will be required to attend both days of training and have a training manual to follow along with in order to receive certification. The manual will be mailed to participants prior to the first day of training. ***Upon registration, please provide the shipping address that you will have no trouble accessing. Last Day for registration will be on December 2nd or until registration is full. It fills quickly!
Please note, if you need to cancel your participation, please do so with more than a weeks notice. This training is in high demand and we typically have a waitlist with people who would love the chance to attend.
If you have any questions, please contact Chelsy Alexander at Calexander@tacfs.org. We are excited to have you join us!
