This training explores familial child sex trafficking (F/CST), a frequently overlooked form of abuse. A discussion with author and lived experience expert Adira James, and Alisa Bernard, Child Sex Trafficking Program Specialist at the National Center of Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), will highlight the unique traumas and challenges faced by children exploited by a parent or caregiver with close examination to trafficking as a function of sexual abuse as it exhibits within organized rings. The session also examines connections to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and explores the long-term impacts of F/CST on survivors.
